Volume 1: Week 3 September 7, 2018
Dear Martell Families,
We hope you had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! It's hard to believe we are only in the end of the second week. I am amazed at how quickly our students have gotten back into the routine. I am impressed by them in every way. It is a pleasure to watch them settle into their new classrooms and learning routines.
Today every grade level came outside for a review of drop off, pick up and bus safety with Mrs. Barsh and Mrs. Motherwell. We successfully reviewed with all 450 of our Mustangs! We thank the transportation department for allowing us to use a parked bus for practice. Ask your child about it!
September brings School Picture Day this week! It also brings the Fun Run! This is our biggest school fundraiser for the year. Please see below for more information.
Our teachers are preparing to share with you a glimpse into your child's learning at Curriculum Night. Please note, this is an evening for parents only. We will have other opportunities for you and your child to be at school for events together later this year. We look forward to special time with our parents on this evening.
Looking forward to seeing you all Monday at PTO, or Thursday at Curriculum Night!
