What Is Your Faith Promise For 2021?

Our missions focus now turns to what WE can do as a church body to continue to help spread the gospel to the ends of the earth. There are still more than 3,000 people groups who have NEVER heard a clear witness of the gospel!

Soon the CFA Missions Committee will be setting the goal for our 2021 missions budget. As always, the funds that come in throughout the year marked for Missions go directly to missionaries and organizations out in the field. What is a FAITH PROMISE? Simply a pact between you and God; an amount of money that you prayerfully determine to give as a sacrificial offering above your tithe to support our World & Home Missions Programs.

Although we are currently holding only online services, you can still go to our website to complete your faith promise. https://www.columbusfirstassembly.org/faith-promise/

Thank you for your continued commitment to this ministry, reaching out to the ends of the earth so all can hear!

In-Person Services Update

Thank you for your prayers for all who are currently dealing with sickness. As we continue to monitor the situation, we wanted to update you on the following decisions:

* For the rest of November, there will be NO In-Person services. This includes Sunday Worship Service, Wednesday night dinner and Midweek Ministry classes, and all other small group meetings.

* There will be new, online services posted on Sundays around 10:00 AM!

As much as we want to be back, worshipping all together, the health and safety of our church family is always our top priority. Stay tuned to our website and social media platforms for updated information. May God bless you until we are together again!

Serving Our Community

This month we are collecting items for Turning Point Domestic Violence Shelter. These women often come to the shelter with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They are often broken physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

We will be putting together gift bags for each of them during this period. Our goal is to fill 25 bags with personal care items as well as some pampering items to let them know that Jesus and CFA love them! Donations can be dropped off at the office entrance of the church. Just ring the buzzer and let us know you are dropping items off and we will gladly take it from there!

Items needed:

Deodorant

Shampoo & Conditioner

Toothpaste

Nail Polish/Clippers/Files

Fuzzy Slipper Socks

Mascara

Lipstick

Journal and Pen

Thank you for blessing these ladies!
