PASD SCHOOL BOARD UPDATE

a snapshot view of October 2020

HIGHLIGHTS OF PASD OCTOBER BOARD MEETING & WORKSHOP

The primary focus of the October Board Meeting and Workshop centered around the return to in-person/hybrid instruction and competition for sports at the high school level. The majority of public comment focused on these areas.

The Board approved the Reopening Plan presented by administration for a phased reopening for those students who chose in-person/hybrid instruction, beginning with Kindergarten on October 19th. (Click here to view the Reopening Page on our website)

The Board also voted to approve the return to competition for all high school fall sports. Due to the higher level of risk of infection identified by health authorities for football, players proposed and agreed to remain in all-virtual instruction through the end of football season.
