Destination Imagination - Coaches Needed
Do you love to be creative? Do you love engineering, building, and problem solving? Do you love to act, or do improv? Do you love competing and working as a team? Then come join Destination Imagination! Destination Imagination is a team and STEAM based learning competition that’s goal is to engage participants in project-based challenges that are designed to build confidence and develop extraordinary creativity, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Choose from different challenges that focus on different areas of STEAM, engineering, science, technical studies, fine arts, and improvisation, and help your team solve a problem through imagination, theatre, and teamwork!
To check out more, visit https://www.destinationimagination.org, and check out DI’s mission and introductions into the six different challenges you can choose from for this year!
We will be distributing sign up forms for those interested, and the informational meeting will be Monday, September 30th, from 5-6pm. We hope you will join us for this once in a lifetime opportunity!

Purchase Requests (per Pat)
All purchases must be approved in advance, including any purchase a teacher makes and then requests reimbursement for. It is still up to the teacher to secure a copy of our sales tax exempt form from the office before making any purchase as we do not reimburse for sales tax.
Each regular classroom, full time teacher (this excludes specials teachers as they have a different budget), have $150/year available to them for expenses specific to their classroom. These funds are not to be spent on regular items that we already purchase for classrooms, (which is another reason for the prior approval). If they put in their purchase request through the normal intranet process, we can usually purchase items at a lower cost through our established vendors. I try to process all purchase requests at least twice a month.
If they intend to use these funds for their classrooms, they need to do so prior to spring break.

MTSS Memo
You may VIEW the MTSS Meeting Calendar to see "Open" slots, but it will not let you directly schedule on it.
Coach's Corner - Hannah Planansky
If you haven’t yet reached out to your classroom parents with a positive email or a check in yet it would be a great time to do so. Parents really appreciate positive emails and while dojo is great for day to day, it doesn’t replace the personalization a positive email can provide. I will be out on Monday so the next time I will see you guys will be Wednesday. Teach on!
