Pebblecreek Montessori Community Service Project 2015-16
Saving Warriors One Dog at a Time.
Rebuilding Warriors is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization that provides service/companion dogs to honorably discharged Veterans. Members from any branch of Armed Forces or Veterans from any service era that meet out eligibility standards will be considered for Service Dog placement.
We are collecting cash/checks and gift cards to pet stores to be gifted to Rebuilding Warriors. To date $65.95 has been collected.
Pebblecreek Montessori will be sponsoring a dog from its adoption, training, then delivery to a local Veteran. The Pebblecreek students will be choosing a name for the adopted dog. Our hopes are to have a ceremony here at the school for the delivery of the trained service dog to the veteran.

New Parent Orientation/Transition Meeting
Tuesday, Nov. 17th, 9am
600 Old Custer Road
Dear New Pebblecreek Parents and Parents of Transitioning Students,
Over the course of the next few weeks, we will begin the process of transitioning students who have met the requirements to advance to the next level. This includes children moving from infant to toddler as well as those moving from toddler to primary. As a rule, we allow 6-8 weeks of transition in order to adequately prepare the children for the change and to make this process as smoothe as possible for both the transitioning children as well as the receiving class .
Recognizing this will also be a transition for parents, we invite you to meet with us November 17th, 2015 at 9:00am in the school gym to discuss the process and answer any questions that you might have. Your child’s teacher will advise you if your child has been identified as ready to move up. Should you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, please feel free to ask Patricia and she will direct you to the correct personnel.
