Game On! Let's Create Champions!
Shout Out to the 1st grade team for their intentionality when planning the 2 minutes Connections
LVES Campus Targeted Improvement Plan Update: Cycle 1 August to November
Cycle 1: Data Collection
- We met our goal for CBA Math data for 4th and 5th Grade.
- We will be collecting I station data for Cycle 1 to report back to TEA before the Thanksgiving break. Please remember to monitor your students and discuss with them the importance of this assessment.
- I station goal for the 1st cycle: K-5 teachers will participate in literacy check-ins utilizing Istation data on an every other month rotation. Seventy percent of students will demonstrate growth each month.
Cycle 1: Create a system of mini lessons for behavior management that will be presented bi-weekly in the staff newsletter
Are you having trouble motivating your students? If so, try CHAMPS!
- On the left side of the picture is the CHAMPS expectations for the activity along with the possible rewards.
- On the right side of the picture is the “pull a card / flip a ticket” system that keeps track of student behavior.
This is another way of showing the “pull a card / flip a ticket” system.
Essentially, this system allows the students to visually see and physically move their cards to reflect their behavior. This CHAMPS system is an expectations that works with any set of rules, rewards, or consequences that you are already implementing. At the end of the day or the lesson, allow the student to choose their reward and reset to green!
