STPP is open for purchase

Dear EPS Parents,

All PK - 12th grade students have been issued a district device to use for learning this year. At times, PK - 2nd grade students may be given the option to take their district-issued device home with them to use. In grades 3rd - 5th, students may be required to take their devices home more often. All 6th - 12th grade students will be required to take their devices home each day.

All devices have a case to prevent accidental damage, however, we strongly recommend that families purchase the $25/year Student Technology Protection Plan (STPP). Parents/Guardians will be financially responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Chromebooks and/or iPads, as well as chargers and cases. This plan covers your student’s device at school and outside of school. You may pay for the STPP online via our InTouch payment system. If you have difficulties using the payment portal, these directions should be able to help. The last day to purchase this coverage is September 23, 2022.

Thank you for your time,

EPS Technology Department

New District Safety Measures

Car Tag Number

Please help your student learn his/her car rider tag number. When students recognize the numbers being called, dismissal is much more efficient.

Student Dismissal Video

Please take a few minutes to watch this detailed explanation of Angie Debo's dismissal procedures.

Complete Dismissal Procedures

Car Rider Information

Pre-K Information

Walker Information

We know the first few days of school dismissal can be stressful. It is our goal to inform you with all the information to mitigate that stress. Because our Dolphin Community and Staff has decreased this year we have changed our car rider system. We believe this new procedure will keep our students' safety the main priority but will also be expedient in the dismissal process.

A few reminders.

Bus Riders

Please check your bus route here to ensure your student is familiar with their bus number.

Car Riders

We no longer have A-L or M-Z car rider line. We will only have one line that will snake through the parking lot. The entrance will be the southern most entrance of the school. Please watch the video above to be prepared for this change.Anyone entering in the middle entrance will have to YIELD to exiting traffic and park.

To exit, there is a RIGHT TURN ONLY.

We will only be able to dismiss our walker population to those students who do NOT have a bus route and live within a mile of the school. This is a safety procedure that has been put in place district wide.

All parents MUST stay in their cars. The only walk up will be in the back of the school where are walkers are dismissed. Please stay in your cars.

If you visit Angie Debo, please be aware you will have to be buzzed in the front door by showing your ID and stating your name, purpose, and location. All visitors and guests must have either an appointment or specific purpose in order to enter the building. This procedure is for the safety and security of your child(ren) and our staff. If you must bring something to school that your child left, you will be asked to buzz in and then the leave the item on the table in the lobby. The item will be delivered to your child timely. Please try to limit student tardy check-ins and early check-outs during the day. There may be times visitors are not able to access to the building during school hours due to either a safety drill or safety event. More information will be put forth by the district soon.

Please call in all student absences to the attendance line at 405-726-4444 by 9:30 for EACH day your student will be sick or late. If your student is going to be late to school for any reason, please make sure and let our office know ahead of time (if possible) by calling our attendance line by 9:30 that morning. This number rings to a voicemail that is available 24 hours a day!

EARLY CHECKOUT is discouraged.... and will count towards their total absences.

Students will not be called out of class until a parent is present to sign them out. Please plan ahead for appointments, as students are learning from bell to bell and will miss valuable instructional class time when checked out.

Student Illness & Exclusion Policies

Exclusion Policy

To prevent the spread of disease and to protect your student, please keep your student home for the following symptoms:

  • a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher (must be fever free with no medication for 24 hours before return to school)
  • vomiting (must be vomit free for 24 hours before return to school)
  • diarrhea (must be diarrhea free for 24 hours before return to school)
  • head lice

If a student becomes ill during school, the parent/guardian of the student will be contacted and if the student meets the above criteria, the student must be checked out to go home. It is important to provide your student's school with updated contact numbers so parents/guardians may be reached concerning illness, as well as emergencies.

Medication Policy

If your child requires medication to be given at school, please contact the office immediately. There are forms to fill out and specific procedures to follow. This is the EPS policy regarding medications:
