Purpose:
The education of children and preparing them for the future has been a life long career goal. For many years I have had the pleasure of being a part of a dynamic education team in a “children are first” environment. My education and classroom experience has provided me the understanding and necessary skills to be a quality team member in an exciting and growing education environment where children’s success holds utmost importance. As time progressed and experiences became available, I have also grown a love for helping other teachers create the same atmosphere I have always believed in. Along with being a part of a successful environment for children, I have also set goals that will allow for opportunities to advise teachers and administrators of the importance of the proper curriculum and learning standards that will promote the success of all students now and in the near future.

Biography
I began teaching at a very young age and also have an extensive background in cheerleading and coaching. I cheered for eight years and spent five years coaching gymnastics and cheerleading. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 2006. Two very honorable accomplishments I hold are graduating at the top of my class at S.F.A. and being voted “Henderson’s Best Teacher” in 2009. I am a mom to a 12 year old little girl named Addy. We enjoy the outdoors and spending our free time on the lake during the summer.
