Geography Bee
On Tuesday some of our 4th and 5th graders participated in the school Geography Bee. The participant from our class was Christian Lehmann. Students will get ta chance to participate again in this event next year as 5th graders.

February Parent Teacher Conferences
Your February conference timesheets were sent home on Wednesday. I wanted to let you know that your fourth grader has been working very hard on a Google Slide Presentation to present to you at this conference. They will be sharing the progress they have made, as well as, some improvements they can accomplish during the remainder of the year. If possible, please make sure that your child attends this conference with you.
These sheets are due back by Thursday, January 21st. Please contact me with any questions or time changes.
Science Fair Projects
Over break your child completed their science fair draft detailing what their project will be about. The final project is due on Thursday, February 4th.
Everyday Math
Unit 5 Tests were graded and will be sent home on Monday. Make sure you sign their test and send it back so I know you saw it!
Here is what to expect for Unit 6:
- Dividing multi-digit numbers by a 1-digit divisor and express the remainder as a fraction.
- Solving division number stories.
- Solving multi-step number stories involving whole numbers and operations.
- Identifying, measuring, and drawing angles.
- Finding angle measurements by adding or subtracting angles, including those in number stories.
