Registration is required. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information about how to join the Zoom session.

A survey will be sent to employees and parents after the first town hall. Before completing the survey, you are encouraged to participate in a town hall or to listen to a recording of the meeting, which will be shared on our website. The surveys will be open until midnight Feb. 7.

Dr. Raichoudhuri will announce the Trimester 3 decision at the Feb. 11 Board of Education meeting.

We will plan to celebrate those students and families that have demonstrated High Engagement by attending synchronous google meets, participating in classroom dialogue and discussions, and turning in their work. Pizza will be delivered to participating families on Friday, February 12, 2021. Teachers will be informing those families that will receive pizzas. Our office will be calling to confirm your address, as the pizzas will be delivered.

We are currently gearing up for Family February. Every February, we welcome loved ones of KKIT students to become honorary members of the orchestra! You don't have to have previously playing experience or an instrument at home to join. We will provide instruments and introductory lessons so you and your student can prepare together for a special virtual performance on March 4. The time commitment is 2 hours per week, including every Thursday from 4pm-5pm. Sign up here: https://forms.gle/aNckVMhfbGqugTtaA We will also be holding a virtual family board game night and picture scavenger hunts throughout the month for families.

Kalamazoo Communities in Schools (KCIS)

We have made the tough decision to not hold a Girls on the Run team at Woods Lake this year. However, 3rd-5th grade girls will still have the opportunity to participate in GOTR. Please see this flyer for more information. If there are any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out!
