Christmas Music Program

What a blessing it was to hear all the beautiful Christmas songs sung by our MCE students! A huge shout out to Agnes Magnaye, our music teacher, for once again putting together fabulous programs. All of our parents and families loved every minute of them. Our whole staff worked together to ensure our programs were successful by helping with rehearsals, setting up the gym, and having the program available on our school's Facebook page. It truly takes a village!

Hendricks County Recycling Visits MCE!

HCRD visited MCE in December to share a STEM activity, Snow Poppers, with all of our students. Each grade level met with the presenters separately to participate in the activity. The students all enjoyed making and playing with their recycled material Snow Poppers. We love our community partners!

2nd Grade Book Tasting

Our 2nd grade classrooms enjoyed a book tasting in December. The students were able to sample many different books to find the ones that were just right for them. The classrooms were decorated as bakeries and the students were the chefs enjoying all the different book selections!

Letters to Santa!

During the month of December several of the grade levels at MCE walked to the Clayton Town Hall to deliver their letters to Santa! The Town Hall had a mailbox set up for the letters. It was nice that our letters to the North Pole could be mailed next to our school!
