You Did It!

Well, Cardinals, you've made it! We want to tip our hats off to all of you for an amazing year. Every one of you made it special, one for the books. We hope you have a relaxing, fun, memorable summer...we'll see you (well, most of you) in September! To our graduates, as you spread your wings and fly from the Cardinal nest, we want you to always remember that you have a forever family here at LHS. Go out there and do great things, be great people, make your great big mark on this world, and SHINE!

GRADUATION REHEARSALS
Monday, June 19th
- Meet in the auditorium by 1:00 p.m. (pick up your seating card outside of the auditorium before entering).
Tuesday, June 20th
- Seniors will be called down to the auditorium at 8:00 a.m. (pick up your seating card again before entering).
LAST DAY = HALF-DAY
GRADUATION CEREMONY
DRESS CODE REMINDER: Graduates are required to dress in appropriate business attire, which includes a collared shirt, tie, and slacks for graduating men, and a dress or nice slacks for graduating women. Sneakers, flip-flops, and shorts are not permitted.

Girl Scout Stand-Outs
Congratulations to freshmen Kelli Collins, Kaitlyn Maloney, and Nicole Seeburger, who were recently awarded the Silver Award as part of their Girl Scout Troop! The girls worked together on a nutrition-themed project, making presentations to Lawrence's elementary school children in the after-school programs, as well as to the pre-K children in the Princeton YWCA's summer program! This award is a huge accomplishment and the girls are commended for their hard work in achieving this amazing honor. To read more about the project, check out the article on MercerSpace HERE.
STAR SENIORS
Congratulations to all seniors who were honored during the June 8th Senior Awards Ceremony! We are so proud of your accomplishments. Sophomore Service Projects
All freshmen will receive their Sophomore Service Projects this week. They can begin working on them as soon as school is out. They are due in the 3rd marking period of the 2017-2018 school year.

Fun Facts - Surf's Up
A surfer once sued a fellow surfer for "stealing his wave." The court eventually dismissed the case, claiming that it was unable to put a price on the pain and suffering endured by watching someone "ride the wave that was intended for you."
