Parent Meeting: Monday, December 4 at 6:00 p.m.
This month's parent meeting will focus on HIB (Bullying). Anyone interested in learning more about this topic and to have a better understanding of how the state interprets bullying within a school setting is encouraged to come. Discussion and activities will center around examples of what is and what isn't bullying, law, and what we as a school are doing each and every day to make a safe environment for all children. Please come out for our presentation on Monday, December 4, at 6:00 p.m. in the BTES auditorium.
Morning Drop-Off Procedures
The following guidelines should assist with morning drop-off procedures.
- The south wing doors open at 7:15 for student drop-off. If there is severe inclement weather (snow/heavy rain) the doors will open five minutes earlier.
- Once you are alongside the curb your child is expected to get out of the car and proceed to their classroom.
- The doors close at 7:25. School starts at 7:25 and students should be sitting in their seats at this time. Please do your best to arrive to school on time daily so that your child is not consistently marked late each day.
- Never drop your child off in the parking lot, side street, or on Emory Ave and expect them to get to class on their own. I know the line can be long at times, but it does move quickly when everyone does what is expected of them.
- If you are going to walk your child through the parent drop-off line, please cross in the middle where the officer of the day will be located.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to speak with me at your convenience.
