I hope this message finds you well. We are in the middle of one of the busiest times of the school year. ACT Aspire testing, SRI and SMI testing, and winter/make up EOI's, observation and evaluations just to name a few of the tasks on our plate. We have decided to try a couple of things to make TASSP information more accessible. For starters, this communication will come out weekly. We want to stream line the system for receiving concerns from members and the responses we receive from the superintendent and others within the education service center. Dr. Gist has asked that instead of waiting for our monthly meeting to handle questions and concerns that we direct them to her immediately. Your officers will then respond as soon as we get a response. To ensure that all members are kept aware of the various concerns and responses, this communication will have a section titled: Concerns and Responses. Additionally, we have created the following email account: tassptulsa@gmail.com . This was created in order to have an adjoining google drive account. The TASSP google drive will house all of the TASSP documents. Specifically, it will house meeting agendas, meeting notes, and an archive of questions and concerns. In addition to these primary functions, this communication will introduce a member each week, recognize achievements by members, and try to remind members of upcoming event on the local, state and national level. Our Last Meeting

We last met with Dr. Gist on November 11th, 2015. During the meeting Dr. Gist and Dr. Wallace shared the latest draft of the Vision and Mission statements. You can find them at
