Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members,
It is hard to believe we will be 100 days into the school year next week! I can't believe how quickly the school year is going. Our amazing students here at Goshen Center School have been learning and developing many new skills and concepts throughout the year and we are all so appreciative of their energy and the positive support our school community provides. Each day I make a point to tour the school and I am routinely amazed at the effort of our dedicated faculty and staff and the many wonderful things they are accomplishing with our students. Our teachers have high expectations for themselves and our students to ensure the students provide a high level of effort to reach their full potential.
Comic Strip Design
Stay tuned for more after school activities being offered this year with Mrs. Farrell.
See pictures below.
Character Creating
This student is looking up images of Tom from Tom and Jerry. He is creating a Tom character and coming up with a plot to start his storyboard.
Character Sharing
This student is telling the group about his comic strip character and what super powers he has. Great sharing with other students.

A quick reminder from the GCS School Nurse
Flu and cold season is upon us. Please remind your children the importance of hand washing and covering their mouths when coughing. A quick reminder that medications may not be transported by students and must be accompanied by a Medication Authorization form filled out by both Physician and Parent in order for administration at school. This includes all over the counter medications. When trying to determine whether or not your child should remain home or come to school, check for a temperature, excessive coughing, or nausea or if you feel the need to administer medication (i.e. Tylenol, Advil, Ibuprofen, etc…) then your child should remain home.

Regional School District No. 6 is currently conducting Kindergarten registration for the 2016-2017 school year. Children must be 5 years of age on or before December 31st of this year to be eligible for Kindergarten enrollment this fall.
