WHAT DO I DO IF I’M SICK AND WON’T BE ABLE TO ATTEND CLASS ONLINE?
Your parent/guardian must call the main office at 515-633-4500 to report any absence.
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I’VE BEEN AROUND SOMEONE WHO HAS COVID-19, (FAMILY MEMBER, FRIEND, ETC)?

WHO DO I CALL IF I HAVE COVID-19?
Your parent/guardian needs to call Nurse Roberta @ 515-633-4521 or the WDMCS COVID-19 Response Line at 515-633-5990 (evenings/weekends)
WILL THE MAIN OFFICE AND NURSES OFFICE REMAIN OPEN?
Yes, the main office and nurses office will remain open from 7:45am to 3:45pm each day.
WHAT ARE THE ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS DURING ONLINE INSTRUCTION?
Attendance requirements remain the same whether online or onsite. If a student is absent, arriving late to online instruction or leaving online instruction early, the parent/guardian MUST notify the main office so the students attendance can be marked correctly.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR ENGAGING IN ONLINE INSTRUCTION?
Students must meet the attendance requirements for their teachers. Camera needs to be on with their background blurred. Please use your school photo as a background. (Teachers might offer PBIS Rewards points if the student uses their school photo as their background.)
DO YOU KNOW YOUR ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT?
Attendance requirements remain the same when online. You must log into your teachers attendance Google Meet, Google Chat, etc or whatever your teacher requirement is to show you are present in class. Follow the directions from each teacher. Ask your teacher if you are unsure.
HOW DO I KNOW HOW TO LOG INTO MY CLASSES?
If you have questions about how to log into your online class please email or communicate with your teacher to get this information.
DO I HAVE TO USE MY SCHOOL DEVICE?
You may use any device from home, however, there will be times when your teachers may require you to use your school issued Chromebook.
WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE TECHNICAL ISSUES WITH MY CHROMEBOOK?

DO I NEED TO TAKE ALL MY THINGS HOME WITH ME?
Yes, please take all of your belongings with you. Due to Covid, things can change often so please take everything that belongs to you with you.
WILL THERE STILL BE PBIS RAFFLES IF WE ARE ALL ON LINE?
Yes, we will still be having the raffle drawings. Items from the store will be available for purchases.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T WEAR MY MASK PROPERLY WHEN IN THE SCHOOL BUILDING?
If students continue to wear masks that don’t meet the requirements (covering both nose and mouth), those students will need to go online in the future opposed to onsite learning.
WHAT DOES MEAL PICK UP LOOK LIKE DURING ALL ONLINE INSTRUCTION?
Meal pick up will be at three locations, Valley, Indian Hills and Stilwell. The specific days and times are in the scheduling process and the information will be sent to all parents as soon as they have the information ready.
DO WE NEED TO LOG INTO STUDY HALL WHILE VIRTUALLY LEARNING?
No, students do NOT need to log into study hall when learning virtually.
PLEASE CONTINUE TO WEAR YOUR MASK, SANITIZE YOUR HANDS, STAY HOME AND DO NOT CONGREGATE IN GROUPS.
- All extracurricular activities are suspended during online instruction. Please look for information from your coach or advisor as we move forward.
