PARENT/FAMILY NEWSLETTER OCTOBER 30, 2022 ISSUE #12
Good Afternoon Cub Families!!
WOW! The Trunk or Treat was a tremendous success!! It was a fantastic evening and certainly a great first event for our brand new school! There are so many special people to thank;
- Our PTO members who worked hard organizing this event! The donations for the raffle baskets, the contests and prizes, the food trucks, law enforcement and fire truck, photo opportunities, ticket sales, and SO MUCH MORE!
- The Clear View staff who designed and manned fun games and activities.
- Mrs. Jacobs and volunteers who helped run the Book Fair.
- Parents and families who sponsored a truck.
- Everyone who came out and had a great time with us!
We are sponsoring Costume Day on Monday, October 31st. Children need to be able to move and function throughout the day in their costumes, so no inflatable costumes or whole head coverings will be permitted. Costumes should be appropriate. No facemasks, fake blood or vomit, or fake weapons will be permitted.
The first grading period ended last Friday. Report cards will be sent home on November 4th. At the present time, first quarter awards are scheduled for November 8th, however that is an Early Release Day. The school leadership team will determine if a date change needs to be made. Parents of students receiving an award will get notification from teachers 1 week prior.
Teachers are in the process of scheduling Parent-Teacher conferences with all families. Please work with your child's teacher to find a time that works for you. We are anxious to share your child's progress and plans moving forward.
Here's to another great week in Cub Country!!
