What's going on at STEM Academy?
DIRECTOR'S DIALOGUE
STEM Families,
Building a sense of community - STEM Family. That is what February was focused on. And that sense of 'family' really shone through during our STEM Signing Events this month!
Ask the students and they will give you their honest opinions. That is what I love about our kids! And when we looked to restructure STEM Contract Signing Night, it became evident that the students had a lot that they wanted to say about it! They wanted to focus on making sure that our newest STEM family members would be able to get a true feel of our program, and of how we value one another. Although the flavor of our two Signing Days were a bit different, both the middle school and high school students played pivotal roles in helping everyone feel welcome and excited about coming to STEM Academy!
It is such a blessing to be able to serve your family, and to get to know your student. I adore each one - all 779 of them! We know that you have a choice about where to send your student, and we sure are grateful that you entrust your most precious beings - your children - to us!
From our STEM family to yours,
Jennifer Jensen, M.Ed.
Director
