Good Friday Afternoon Panther Nation!
It has been a very busy week here at The Corona High School! Happy Veterans Day! We want to thank all of our Veterans for their service to our country. We have many Corona High School teachers, counselors, and classified employees who have either served in the military or have family members that have served. We have many Corona High School students that have family members that have served or are still serving in the military. We want to thank you all for all that you have done to serve. Day of the dead which is celebrated on November 2nd is a day to honor our loved ones that have passed away. The beautiful altars were put together by the world languages students and teachers. There was also a Remember Me Tree, where students wrote a memory of someone that they wanted to honor on this day. The world languages department creates these altars every year as a way for students to learn about Hispanic culture and teach about Hispanic traditions.

Cadets from Corona High NJRTOC participated in the Veteran's Parade held at the Shops of Dos Lagos. This event took place on Saturday, November 5th, 2022. This event was to recognize Veteran’s day, a day of remembrance, where they honored our veterans and military personnel.
It is with immense gratitude that we acknowledge and celebrate our amazing school psychologist, Lan Gomez! Her unique skills support students' ability to learn. She applies expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior, to help our youth succeed academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally. She has made a HUGE impact on the lives of so many students while also being the best supporter and resource to our teachers and service providers. We salute you, Lan, for being such a caring and extremely dedicated member of our Panther family!
Best of luck to her psychologist intern, Bethany Toscano!

Coach Diaz and his coaching staff took the entire football program to a UCLA football game that was held in the Rose Bowl. The boosters held a BBQ for all the players before they left in busses to the game. Once there, the players were treated as VIP guests with a special entrance and sideline passes before the game. The players enjoyed a great game in which UCLA was victorious! #Family
