Pajama Day at Anderson!
These kids are Respectful, Responsible, and Safe....X 583!
We set a goal.... Our Students responded with positive actions.... They earned their reward!
Last week, I challenged all of the Anderson Students to work as a team and earn over 300 "Blue Slips". These are positive affirmations tickets that our staff give to students when we notice they are going above and beyond to be Respectful, Responsible and Safe. This morning we counted up the totals from each class and they earned 583 Blue Slips!
I wish you could have seen the look on their faces when I announced the total number and let them know that they earned the reward they had chosen, a pajama day before winter break. I also wish you could see my heart, and how proud I am of our kids when I notice how they value hard work, kindness, and respect.
Soooo.... If your child tells you that Mr. Jarot said they could wear Pajamas to school, they are correct. :) Of course, if you child doesn't want to wear their PJ's, that is totally fine. As you know it's not about the PJ's, its about affirming our kids for their positive behavior!
Have a wonderful Winter Break!
Happy Holidays,
Mr. Jarot
PS. Now would be a great time to click on the link below and fill out the Anderson 5Essentials Survey! Sorry, I had to throw that in there.
