Heart disease describes conditions that effect your heart. Diseases or conditions that fall under the heart disease classification are: blood vessel diseases, such as coronary artery disease, heart rhythm problems, and defects to the heart you were born with. Many forms of heart disease can be treated or prevented by having healthy lifestyle choices.

Cancer
Cancer is a term used for diseases in which abnormal cells divide with no control and invade other tissues. Cancer is not just one disease, but a classification for many diseases. The main categories of cancer include: Carcinoma, Sarcoma, Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma, and central nervous system cancers. Sometimes a tumor, which is a mass of tissue formed by extra cells, is formed. However, not all tumors are cancerous. Benign tumors are cancerous and malignant tumors or not. Not all cancers form tumors. For example, leukemia is a cancer of blood and bone marrow.

- Eat a healthy diet
- Maintain a healthy weight and be physically active
- Protect yourself from the sun
- Avoid risky behaviors that could lead to infection
- Get regular medical care
