Angel Tree Project
We are supporting Norwalk Social Services with the Gold Angel/ Dollar Angel Program this year. It seems that many participants are not able to contribute this year, or their contributions are much less than the previous year.
Gold Angel - $20: supports a gift of clothing
Dollar Angel can be purchased in honor of a friend or family member and those funds go toward purchasing toys for children in the City of Norwalk.
See the flyer from the City of Norwalk below.
If you are interested in purchasing either Angel, see any CSF or AVID Club member can shop for you, as well as wrap your gift.
Last year we supported 40 children in Norwalk with a gift of clothing, it would be amazing to support the same number of children this year or surpass that number.
Please email cjohnson@nlmusd.org if you have any questions.

ATHLETICS
Basketball Wednesdays During Lunch Time
Mr. Beltran will be opening the gates near the ticketbooth to the football field during lunch time so that students can play basketball. We had about 8-10 students take advantage of this on Wednesday. Students are only allowed in the blacktop area ONLY if they are playing basketball. They have to provide their own ball. The area directly in front of the ticketbooth is off limits. If there are any issues with trash, inappropriate behavior, or other concerns then this activity will be canceled. There is no eating in the blacktop area.
Mr. Beltran will try to open the gates up every Wednesday, but sometimes he might not be able to if he has other immediate work obligations or meetings. He will do the best he can to keep Basketball Wednesdays consistent.
