Winter 2019 MAP Results...
Students have now completed the MAP testing for the winter in all grades. Parents will get the results next month during parent teacher conferences. The chart below shows the median percentile data collected from fall, 2019 to winter, 2019. The percentile is a student’s ranking against other students in the same grade. As an example shown the top chart below, our median percentile for all students was the 77th percentile for math in the winter of 2019 compared to the 72nd percentile for the district. In other words, the average Abbott student outperformed 77% of others in the same grade level in math. In the middle column the numbers indicate the growth percentile from fall to winter (F2W). The last two columns show the percent of students meeting their growth expectations. Green indicates above average. Remember, there are three ways we look at data: achievement, growth, and percent mastery of expectations.
