Semester Tests
We do not give early assessments for semester testing. If your student cannot be here either of those days, please contact your student's grade level administrator to make arrangements to test following the break.

Grades and Stuff
Second nine weeks ends Friday, December 16th. Grades will be finalized shortly after we return from Winter Break.
Before and after school Academic Recovery is up and running. If your student is struggling to keep pace or needing extra help, we may be calling to assign them that extra time. If you believe that your student would benefit from this opportunity, feel free to give us a shout!
Counseling Corner
We recognize that this can be a difficult time of year for some students and their families. If you are needing anything from the counseling office to help assist you, please contact:
8th Grade: Mrs. Larson - larsona@mustangps.org
7th Grade: Ms. McGavock - mcgavockk@mustangps.org
7th Grade Suicide Prevention classes will will be January 6, 9, 10. Opt out forms will be going home prior to these courses. Please be on the lookout for those if you would prefer that your child not participate.
Calm Water Support Groups are available for students needing different kinds of support. Please check out the attached flyer for more information on what these groups are and how to sign up.

W.I.N. Time
The goal of W.I.N. Time is to give students 30 minutes a day once or twice a week to provide opportunities for intervention or extension in areas of need. Students will either be placed or have the opportunity to choose from classes that have extra help or enrichment activities.

If you are having any specific issues with you student's chromebook, please contact Mrs. Sawyer in the Media Center to get squared away. sawyerm@mustangps.org
Canvas Help
Using Canvas From Home:
To access Canvas from home, students will need to go to: https://mustangps.instructure.com/login/canvas
When they log on, they will need to select log in with google.

Student Drop Off and Pick Up
It is also important to note that no parents should line up on the West side of the building to pick up students in the afternoon.
The Mustang Police Department will soon help assist in reinforcing safe drop off and exit procedures for students.
School Hours
Classes are 8:40 a.m. - 3:35 p.m.
The building is open 8:10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. each day
Please do not drop off your student(s) prior to 8:10am. Students will not be allowed to enter prior to that time regardless of weather conditions, and there is no supervision.
If you are coming to MMS, please come through the Front (West) Doors and check-in at the office.
