Parent-Teacher Conferences

Conferences will be this Thursday (September 27, 2018) from 3:30 - 7:00 PM.

The conferences are a drop-in format, and you may visit teachers in any order. We recommend bringing either a picture or printed out student schedule (with room numbers).

Please be sure to visit the Parent Portal to review your student's grades to assist with conversations that evening.

Our Mentors4College program has a "Planning for College" presentation from 6-7 PM in the auditorium.

Homecoming Parade

On Saturday, September 29th, we will host the 2018 WSD Homecoming Parade that includes all three high schools. This is an opportunity to bring our schools and our community together for a great event and we hope you will join us for the parade which will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Campus Drive and Pearce Boulevard, travel east on Pearce Boulevard and end at Luetkenhaus Boulevard near the American Legion and First Baptist Church. Visit the WSD Facebook Page to tell your friends you're going. See more details by checking out this flyer on the WSD Website.

Apply Week

Apply Week (October 8-12), will provide seniors an opportunity to get help filling out applications, including college applications, signing up for the ASVAB, applying for a job, or taking a career interest inventory. At the end of the week, it is our goal that all seniors will have participated. We will have free food and prizes to give away throughout the week. Last year was a lot of fun, and I know that this year won't disappoint.

Senior Students were sent an e-mail invitation to sign up for a session in Apply Week through Sign-Up Genius (sent on Sept. 5th).

Thank you,
