Hi, this is Dilan and Joe here to write this weeks newsletter. We've recently passed Valentine's day, I hope you enjoyed the festivities.(And Candy Hearts!)
Math
Bowie: we're working on exponents!
Maher: We're reviewing adding, subtracting, and multiplying fractions!
Neumann: We're working on deciding if bigger is always better for a party!
Reading/Literacy
We're working on a special effects essay in daily three, we're reading Wonder, and we're learning about Jargon.
Science/Social Studies
In social studies we are working on a frieze in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 1859. We own businesses, farms, there's a train, and the Tennessee River.
Events
Nothing is really happening but valentines day is in a couple weeks.
Specials
P.E.: We aren't working on a real unit but have a game day this Thursday. Plus, we just finished our basketball unit.
Art: We are going to be working on a perspective drawing and our art teacher's room flooded so we now have to do art in our own class.
Music: We are working on Italian words such as largo, allegro, piano, forte, tempo, dynamics, and many more!
