Albion Elementary Family Newsletter
November 2016
Thank you for caring!
Thank you for coming out to your student's parent/teacher conference. If you were unable to attend please be sure that you have a phone conversation with your student's teacher. The turnout for conferences was incredible and helps to illustrate why we have so many successful students in our school. It's no secret that family involvement in the education of a child makes a huge difference for their future. Keep helping with homework, reading, and having conversations with your children. Just because conference time is over please keep in mind that Albion Elementary's doors are open for family involvement. Be sure to email or call your son or daughter's teacher if you have any questions or concerns. We have an outstanding staff that is willing to discuss student achievement and learning any time. I hope to see all of you soon. Have a great November and Happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Jeff Harper, Principal

A Note From Nurse Eash
Our annual flu vaccine clinic will be held on Monday, November 7th for those students who have turned in a signed consent form. The Centers for Disease Control found that flu shots reduced a child’s risk of ending up at the doctor’s office sick with influenza by more than 60% last season. Thank you for protecting your student and others by getting a flu shot!
