Jurassic Park Protagonist
Dr. Grant, The whole story is mainly from his perspective of things. Most of the scientific information also comes from his head. He showed up the most in the movie too.
Frankenstein Protagonist
Victor Frankenstein, The book is basically a letter that Victor Frankenstein wrote. The letters is through his perspective of things of how his life happened.
Jurassic Park Antagonist
Velociraptors, Velociraptors were mentioned throughout the story, even in the beginning. In the movie, The velociraptors showed up the most as the main villains, killing many people, almost killing Dr. Grant and the rest of the crew.
Frankenstein Antagonist
the Monster Victor created is the automatic antagonist of this story, he is Victors enemy. The Monster was responsible for four deaths, including Victors future wife (5 if you include Victor), They were all relatives to victor. The monster left Victor alone, which led to Victor seeking revenge for all that the Monster has cost over the past years.
Conflict
Jurassic Park: Man vs Himself
Hammond is obsessed with making money, when he Created Jurassic Park, he didn't really care about how the dinosaurs were made, but the amount of profit that he would get. In the first movie, you can tell that he was mad when the guests he invited to see the dinosaurs were not approving of his “zoo”.
Frankenstein: Man vs Himself
Victor had a conflict with himself when his mother died. After his moms death, he became fascinated to trying to bring people back to life. This led to Him creating the monster that will become the main antagonist throughout the book.
Jurassic Park: Man vs Society
Everyone was against Hammonds idea of the Jurassic Park Zoo. Hammond didn't expect this, He thought that everyone was going to like his idea. Turns out only the lawyer approved of his idea.
Frankenstein: Man vs Society
The monster was hated by everyone he met because they were scared of him. Society wouldn't accept how he looked like, he looked like a monster to everyone. The Monster grew anger towards everyone and himself for being so ugly.

Ending Scenes
- Similarities: In both ending scenes there are both characters who escape away from the antagonists(Being the monster victor created and the dinosaurs Hammond helped create). Both stories leave the imagination to wonder as both antagonists are still running around free without really knowing what they will do now
- Differences: However there were certain differences between the two endings as well. In Frankenstein the creator of the monster being Frankenstein is killed by the monster. However in Jurassic park Hammond who wanted to push the limitations of science to bring back the dinosaurs did not die by the hands of his creations.
Quests
- Robert Walton: Wants to explore places that no one has explored before. He tries to push the limitations of him and his crew to continue their journey however once Victor taught him the danger of blind ambition he backed down on his quest
- Victor Frankenstein: Wants to push science to the point where reanimation of a dead corpse is possible. To bring the dead back to life was his only goal until he actually succeeded which lead to the eventual change of victors quest that Victor's quest changed to wanting to destroy the life that he created .
- The Creature: After his abandonment at birth, the creatures sole purpose was to not be alone. Throughout the monsters journey all he had in mind was to fill the emptiness that loneliness gave him.
- Mr. Hammond: By using his humungous wealth Hammond spares no expense as he brings the dinosaurs back to life. Blinded by ambition he sees 11absolutely no problem with the recreation of creatures that have been dead for thousands of years.
- Dr. Grant: Dr. Grant quest began when he first stepped foot on the island. Having the purest of ambitions, Dr. Grant wanted to simply discover how the dinosaurs worked by observing them at the park. Once things turned chaotic his quest was to keep Mr. Hammond's grandchildren safe.
