Tax Time
Don't miss out on making your money count this tax season! Make a Tax Credit Donation directly to Sierra Verde online at https://dvusd.org/taxcredit or drop a check/money order off in the front office.
A state tax credit will allow you to reduce the amount of your tax liability to the state OR increase your refund from the state. Anyone with or without children, married or single is eligible for this unprecedented state tax credit up to $400 married/$200 single (please consult your tax advisor to determine how the tax credit will affect your personal tax return).
Donations received between January 1 - April 15 can be applied to previous year taxes or the current year Arizona state taxes.

Covid Reporting/Face Mask/Water Bottle Reminder
DVUSD New Early Relase from Close Contact Quarantine Policy:
A student can be released early from the 10 day quarantine and may return on Day 8 or after if the student receives a negative COVID-19 test result beginning on Day 6 of the quarantine or after and the student has been symptom free since exposure. (Day 0 is the most recent date of close contact exposure to the COVID-19 positive person.) Proof of a negative test must be provided to the school before the student will be allowed to return.
Also, please remember to send students to school with a refillable water bottle or hydroflask that they can refill throughout the day along with at least two facemasks in case they get dropped or soiled. We always have extras of both on campus, but we are quickly running through our supply.
Have a Great Weekend!
