Whats Hygiene?

Hygiene is the practice of maintaining health and preventing disease and the upkeep of cleanliness. All around the world their are cities and communities that cant support for themselves and their families. These amazingly strong people try very hard to provide for their families but sometimes its just not enough. In these communities people cant provide simple hygienic products for themselves and their families, which makes them more at risk for epidemic diseases and even simple colds that can turn into life threatening sicknesses.

Why should I help? This doesn't affect me?

You may be happy and healthy now, but any moment an epidemic can start. Having people around you that may not have great hygiene will make you sick in a second.

It is estimated that washing hands with soap and water could reduce diarrhea disease-associated deaths by up to 50%.The spread of pinworms can be reduced by proper hygiene, including clipping nails and showering children immediately after they wake in the morning. These things may not seem like a big deal but they can get to you just like they get to everyone else. By helping clean up the people we share this earth with we reduce the chances of getting sick our selves.
