New Mission Table
A huge thanks to Mr. Larkin for the wonderful new mission table. It looks great and works great. It has been so nice for the Mindstorms robots to have their own table to run missions. The other table is shared by teams working with Robotix and LEGO WeDo's until we get another. Thanks again Mr. Larkin!
APS Robotics Club has Moved Down the Hall
The APS Robotics Club has moved our meetings. We now meet in room 231, just down the hall from my classroom. We have more space there for our robotics supplies and the mission tables. There are signs on my door and on the new robotics lab.
Luke and Dobi
The robotics club recently got new robot called Dobi. Luke has been working with Dobi to program him and learn what he can do. They will be in the Media Center after the Dedication Day ceremony next Friday. Come check them out!
Mindstorms and the Space Mission Set
Since we have a second table now, I have set up our Space Mission set. John, Ayden, Robert, Chay and the other middle schoolers have been programming their LEGO Mindstorms robots to accomplish various missions on "Mars" setting up a space station.
Cole, Avery, Gio and Jack on Mindstorms
The robotics team made up of Jack, Cole, Avery and Gio have been working very hard in robotics. They did so much with the LEGO WeDo's that they have moved on to the LEGO Mindstorms. They have completed the movement module and are working on programming with sensors. They are building a special robot to program and share in the Media Center Friday after the Dedication Day ceremony. Come check them out!
WeDo Teams
We have some amazing teams working with the LEGO WeDo's in the Robotics Club. The team made up of Nora, Nyia, Molly, Rylan and Davis have completed many missions. They are really good at at building and programming. They will be in the Media Center after the Dedication Day ceremony to show off one of their creations. Come check them out!
