PTA Board Nominations!
It's the time of year when the PTA Board begins asking for nominations for next year's PTA Board. If you are interested in joining the PTA Board or know someone that you would like to nominate, please complete the form attached to this Eagle Eye Newsletter email and return it to your child's teacher by January 18th.

Lego Club
The Spring semester session of the Lego Club will begin on February 1st. Permission slips are due on January 12th. Only the first 50 permission slips received will be able to join the Lego Club for this session.

Choir News & Important Dates!
Choir rehearsal resumes this Friday, Jan. 8, 7:15 a.m.
· There will be NO Choir rehearsal on Friday, Feb. 12
· The Choir will be performing at the Lone Star Symphonic Band Concert on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 4:00 p.m.
· There will be NO Choir on Tuesday, March 29 due to STAAR Testing
· There will be NO Choir on Tuesday, May 10 due to STAAR Testing
· The Eagle Drummers’ Celebration will be on Wednesday, May 18
· The Choir EOY Celebration will be on Friday, May 20 and that is the LAST Choir event (no choir rehearsal on May 24)
Eagle Drummers Applications
Eagle Drummers is one of our newest musical groups that is composed of 4th grade students interested in music (specifically in drumming!), who will meet Wednesday mornings at 7:15 a.m. throughout the spring semester, beginning on Wednesday, January 20. Students will learn a variety of musical drum ensembles and will prepare to perform in April and May (with a field trip in April!). Interested students should complete an application and submit to Mrs. Montilla or Mrs. Herrera by Wednesday, January 13. The second page is to be filled out at the top and then given to Homeroom teachers to complete. All students who apply will be notified if they have been selected for this elite musical group by January 15. Thank you for your interest!
