Parent Conferences on the Horizon

Parent teacher conferences will be December 8 and 9 (both half days for students). Parents will have an option of a virtual or an in-person conference. Be on the lookout for a survey sent to each parent/guardian asking you about your preference for in-person or virtual conference and a preference of an afternoon or evening time. Thank you.

Appropriate Footwear for Gym & Recess

We kindly ask that students are sent to school wearing appropriate footwear especially for gym and recess. Please avoid flip-flops or crocs as we are seeing an increase in injuries particularly in students who are active in areas such as gym and on the playground at recess. We have had several leg injuries and a concussion from students wearing crocs at PE and playing sports at recess.

Thank you in advance for your support with this.

No School for Students on Tuesday and Friday Next Week

There will be no school for students on Tuesday, Nov. 8. There is a staff professional development day on Tuesday and it is Election Day.

There will be no school on Friday, Nov. 11 in honor of Veteran's Day. We are asking students to wear red, white and blue on Thursday for a Patriotic Spirit Day and a symbol of our appreciation of our veterans. Thank you.

Big picture

Last week a couple of our fifth grade classes joined the second grade at Parkview

for some pumpkin math. When all of our K-2 students join our main school campus in January, RO looks to do more learning adventures with our younger friends!

Another fun prize in our pROud paw monthly raffle is "Music Manager Fridays".

The winning class selects a school appropriate song to play during lunch.

Some students can't resist the dance. It's a lot of fun!

Student Activity Fee

In order to help defray/cover the costs of transportation and entrance/registration fees for enrichment activities, the Easton Public School system has been collecting activity fees. Because of these fees, our district is also able to send our students to Sheep Pasture/NRT for enriching outdoor learning throughout the year. It is a valuable and unique learning opportunity for our students.

The elementary fee structure is $45.00 for grades 1-6.

For your convenience, payment can be made through the following website: www.myschoolbucks.com. If you are only able to pay by check, please make the check payable to Easton Public Schools and in the memo, please indicate it is for the student activity fee and include your child’s name. We do not accept any cash payments. Please ensure you do not pay more than once. Unfortunately, the system does not prevent this.

Please do NOT use the MySchoolBucks app. It is not functioning properly at this time.

Please note: Students who are on free/reduced lunch are exempt from this fee.
