IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Attendance Expectations
The Park Hill School District is committed to the philosophy that every student should attend every class, every period, every day. Daily attendance and promptness are expected in all classes and are essential for success in school.
Since attendance represents a critical component in the overall success of each student, when a student’s absenteeism is excessive, the school will send a letter to the student’s parents/guardians. The letter sets out the total number of student absences and the importance of school attendance. If the student’s attendance does not improve, the school will take additional steps to ensure the parent/guardian is aware of the student’s poor attendance. The school may also make a referral for educational neglect to the Missouri Children’s Division or to the Platte County prosecutor, in accordance with Missouri law.
Our goal is for students to be present 95% of time or more.
August Attendance
Please remember, that when students arrive after 8:40 AM or leave before 3:30 PM, it counts as a partial absence.

PTA Reflections
National PTA’s Reflections program has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. The theme for the 2019-2020 program year is Look Within. Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts. Click HERE for more information.
Nominate a Staff Member for the Park Hill STAR Award
Our employees are the reason we are so successful here in the Park Hill School District, and we would like to recognize them for all they do for our students.
That is why we present the Park Hill Star award once a month to a pre-K or elementary teacher, a secondary teacher and a support employee. Anyone can nominate an employee for this award by using the form below. It asks you to share how your nominee demonstrates our district values of continuous improvement, high expectations, integrity, visionary leadership and student focus. You can also share how your nominee supports the goals in our district’s strategic plan.
