A subscription to SimpleK12 for online PD has been created for teacher use.
They have a large catalog of online PD that teachers can access. They have a bunch of webinars about Google Classroom and Zoom, among several other topics.
Rather than purchasing many subscriptions, I only purchased one, and want to share the login info.

From the Desk of Kim Seifferly
With the announcement last week of the temporary shift in the Return to Learning plan, we genuinely appreciate your patience and support as we not only work through the hundreds of adjustments needed for our students, but also consider the necessary adjustments for staff.
The purpose of this communication is to communicate work expectations for employees in the LTA, SEIU-Food Service units and Paraprofessionals in the LESP unit, whose normal work would not be needed when face-to-face instruction is suspended.
- For the time period of Aug 31 – September 11, bus drivers, cooks and paraprofessionals should plan to report to work as scheduled unless they are on an otherwise approved leave of absence.
- Employees in these groups will have the opportunity to work at least the total number of hours within the week that they otherwise would have worked if students had been in session.
- In order to assist with the current needs of the building or department, your actual individual daily start and end time may need to be adjusted. Please speak with your immediate supervisor regarding any temporary adjustments to your daily start/end times.
- Employees should continue to punch in and punch out each day you report in order to be paid.
- As the work that you would have been doing had students been in session may no longer be needed, you may be reassigned to assist with newly identified building/department needs to prepare for the return to school.
Details regarding work assignments beginning September 14 will be communicated at a later date.
Thank you again, for your ongoing support and commitment to the students and staff of Lapeer Community Schools. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
