Yearbooks will be available outside of the auditorium on a first come, first served basis for $40 cash or check (made out to Willard Middle School). Once these yearbooks are sold, no further copies will be available for purchase. Yearbooks were distributed on Friday, June 10, during Advisory.
Field Day This Week
Locker Clean Out
Grade 8 Yard Signs
All eighth grade students will receive a "Welcome to Lightridge" yard sign from Lightridge High School (LHS). In addition, more than 100 eighth graders purchased a WMS Congratulations Yard Sign. Sign pick up will continue this week with any purchased signs being placed on the grass median for ease of pick up. For students, we will have bins in the 800 locker areas for any eighth graders to pick up their LHS sign. For safety, they will be able to pick up the metal stake after school in marked bins outside of the school.

Expunging Grades
If your rising eighth or ninth grade child has taken a high school credit-bearing course while in middle school, such as: Algebra, Geometry, or any World Language, you may elect to have the grade expunged from the high school record. To expunge means to erase the record of the course taken and grade earned. Only failing grades will automatically be expunged. Once a grade is expunged, it is removed from the academic record and will not be counted in the GPA or count towards graduation credit. Middle school grades cannot be expunged at any time while enrolled in high school. The decision to expunge is irreversible. If you are interested in exploring the expunging process, please note the following information:
For Rising 8th Grade Students: Please click here for the Willard Expunge Form via Permission Click. The Willard deadline to complete and submit this form is Friday, June 24, 2022.
For Rising 9th Grade Students: Please click here for the Lightridge Expunge Form via Permission Click. The Lightridge deadline to complete and submit this form is Monday, August 15, 2022. Please note that this deadline is different than the Rising 8th Grade deadline, as our rising ninth graders are venturing to Lightridge next school year.
Please feel free to reach out to your child’s counselor if you should have any questions and/or concerns.
