KM Thanksgiving Feast 2015

The Feast is this Friday...
We are excited to invite you to join us at our Annual Thanksgiving Feast this Friday. We will be holding our event at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.
We have important instructions in order for you to get your child to the venue:
Please pick your child up from the school at 10:15 am and take him or her to the church for a 10:45-11:00 am start. Teachers will not drive children to or from the venue.
Extended Care - Extended care children, who are not accompanied by a family member, will be taken by administrators to and from the church, please leave your child’s car seat.
Extended care ends at 4:00 pm that day. It will take place at the school as normal.
Annual Thanksgiving Feast
The feast will be in the Parish Hall of the church.
We hope that every child will have an adult to accompany them.
Please be careful to have your child near you throughout the event.
We want every to have a safe and happy time.

Schedule:
8:20-8:40 am - If your child usually attends school on Friday he or she can be dropped off as normal. If your child does not attend on Fridays, please bring him or her to the feast with you at 10:45 am.
9:00 -10:00 am - Drop off your feast contribution at the Parish Hall of the church.
PLG members and Room Parents will be at the church to receive your items. Please make sure that all items are in disposable containers.
10:15 am – Return to the school to pick up your child/children.
10:45 am - All remaining teachers and children will go to the church. ONLY if you are an extended care friend please make sure that your child's car seat has been left at the school if you cannot attend.
10:45 am - If you are a Room Parent or PLG member please arrange a ride to the church for your child.
10:45 am - School will be locked
10:45 am – The Feast Begins
12:00 pm - The Feast ends, children dismiss at noon.
12:00 pm - Children enrolled in extended care will be taken back to school by the teachers.
4:00 pm - Extended care ends.
Feast Contributions by Class
Please contact your class teachers for the sign-up list for your class. We expect to be serving 250 people. Please let us know if your child will be attending and how many people will be attending from your family.
Class 210 – Iced tea (sweetened/unsweetened, apple juice, bread rolls (150) & butter
Class 204 – Cold Side Dishes – Potato salad, pasta salad, fruit salad, green salad and coleslaw.
Class 206 – Hot Side Dishes - Mashed Potato, sweet potato, green beans, corn, corn casserole, broccoli casserole, mac and cheese, stuffing and gravy.
Class 208 – Desserts: Pies, cookies, cupcakes, fruit trays
Class 212 – Per family – bring 1 Ham cooked and sliced OR 1 Turkey cooked and sliced, or a vegetarian casserole
Class 214 – Per family – bring 1 Ham cooked and sliced or bring 1 Turkey cooked and sliced.
