Boxtops can be collected through Thursday, February 23rd. StuCo will count Friday, February 24th. Students need to use time in Success class to trim and sort for expired tops. StuCo will be needed Friday, February 24th during Success time to count and bag.

This is the students' GT time for this week. Community members will be involved so we need to stick to the schedule as closely as possible. If students would like to come and watch other student presentations, they are welcome as long as they have your permission.

What: The largest Open House in Texas with over 400 activities
Where: The University of Texas in Austin
Why: To give AVID students and their families the opportunity to explore another major university (we already toured A&M!)

AVID applications are available now. Applications were handed out to recommended 5th grade students on Wednesday. Any student can self-nominate so refer interested 5th or 6th grade students to room 119 to pick up an application.
