Relationship between environment and radiation therapy

The environmental relationship between radiation therapist and the environment is that the therapists will have to be careful not to get to exposed to radioactive material which is the radiation treatment. Also they need to be careful not to expose it to other people or things that are outside of the radiation room.

Advantages to the environment

One of the advantages to the environment is that all radiation treatments are done in a all lead room so none of the radioactive materials seep out of the room and harm other things.

Disadvantages to the environment

One of the disadvantages to the environment is that if things get exposed to too much radiation they can be very harmed. Also when the patients are actually receiving the radiation treatment the therapists are outside of the room so the don't get to exposed to the radiation. This does not mean that the therapists will not get exposed they just wont get exposed to too much of it.
