Mustang Mentors Visit From SHS

Mustang Mentors

Today, the Mustang Mentors made their second visit from the High School and continued conversations and interactions with our students on what it means to be a positive role model and a successful student. Today's focus was on social media and the dangers that can go along with inappropriate use. The Mentors cautioned that it easy to 'say' and do things behind a keyboard that you would never say or do face to face. Many students stated they enjoy the positive interaction with the Strongsville High School students.

Students Expressing Creativity in Art Class

Student Spotlight

Rachel Kovatich, or Rae as she's known by everyone who knows her, is the Xtreme Team's choice for Student Spotlight. Rae is a talented artist, with a keen eye for photography. When she's not in school, Rae enjoys swimming, reading, drawing, and of course--taking pictures. Rae is a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Children's Chorus, and performs all over the Cleveland area as a member of this prestigious ensemble. Rae is also an active member of Strongsville United Church of Christ, and participates in numerous activities with her church, including serving dinners and other community service. Rae couldn't choose just one class as her favorite at CMS--she loves them all!! When asked what she likes most about Center, Rae said the people--she appreciates how nice both the staff and students are. In the future, Rae plans to be either a Chemist or pursue a career in Astrophysics. We know Rae can achieve whatever she sets her mind upon---her talent and skill is out of this world!
