  7. Oddly enough, Artemis was both a killer of wild animals and their protector.
  8. She also protected the agriculture and animal herding.
  9. Artemis means "safe".
  10. In the myth of Orion which has various versions, Orion was also a hunting companion of Artemis and the only person to have won her heart.

Why I chose this goddess

I chose this goddess because I think she was awesome and I liked what she did in her life. I like her unique name. The meaning of Artemis is "safe".
