Tonight! Close Up 2023 Interest Meeting
Ever wanted to see a behind the scenes look at how decisions are made that impact our country? Then the Close Up Club is just for you! All interested students and parents are invited to attend our interest meeting. We will meet virtually via the zoom link located at the bottom of this page. We will discuss program activities, resources, fundraising, deadlines, and much more.
Using DC as a living classroom, students make personal connections with the people and institutions that embody our nation’s past and present.
With the help of our Program Instructors, students learn more about history and government while considering a variety of viewpoints. Close Up’s once-in-a-lifetime opportunities are designed to inspire and empower students to become active participants in our democracy.
Feel free to take a closer look by visiting www.closeup.org. Finally, please send an email to Ms. Gonzalez (jgonzalez@csdecatur.net), Ms. Embry (kembry@csdecatur.net), or Mr. Sprull (dsprull@csdecatur.net). if you have any further questions or are unable to attend.
