Our HOSA students did a FANTASTIC job at the Blood Drive last week! With their leadership, we were able to donate over 33 pints of blood and exceed their goal of 22 pints! Great job HOSA!
Lunch Orders

No School for Students
There is no school for students on Friday, 9/23, for teacher professional development. Also, there is no school for staff and students at OEC on Monday, 9/26, in observance of Rosh Hashanah. OCC classes are still running so please keep that in mind.
WBHS Homecoming
WBHS Homecoming is Saturday, October 1st. Students can purchase tickets for $10 from Mrs. Kelley. A more detailed email was sent to students so see that for more information.
Volunteer Opportunity
Once again the Racial Justice Advisory Council is holding their Justice Resource Fair on 9/24 from 12:00 - 2:00 at Beaudette Park in Pontiac. This year, there is a face painting and temporary tattoo booth for kids and the RJAC is looking for OEC students to volunteer! There are also other volunteer opportunities as well. Congressional App Challenge
Students are invited to compete in the Congressional App Challenge. Please click here for more information. We also have informational signs up in H building with more information for students.
PIT Crew Update
The Frontier Soup fundraiser is in full swing! Order forms went home with your student last week, if you need a copy, please print off the attached flyer and use it (soup link). Remember to include your family and friends with your order! They make great gifts as well. These fundraisers help us to achieve our goals which includes providing for our graduates, our students and the great OEC staff. One way to help recognize our staff is to include a line on your order form adding one (or more) soup(s) that the PIT can distribute to the staff as an appreciation gift. The deadline for the order form with payment is Friday September 30th, order big!!

Contacts Update
All students brought home their "emergency card." We want to make sure everyone stays in the loop so if you have new phone numbers, emails, or have moved, please make the appropriate changes to the "emergency card" and return it to school.
