Family Directory Form
The PTO is attempting to collect family contact information in order to find ways to create community during this time of separation. The goal is to find one parent from each class to be the "Room Parent" who can help to coordinate small group meet ups that are masked and distanced in addition to helping with other things that may come up. Some families might need help picking up their supply packet and another family might be willing and able to help. The hope is to be able to help each other through this. It is looking like we are in it for the long haul so keeping and establishing relationships is important. Helping each other through this is important. Having kids ready to return to school having practiced being around their peers masked and distanced is important. The plan is to collect contact information as families are comfortable and then distribute the lists by grade level. The PTO will only share this information as stated.
Thank you MTE for all of your support. Stay Healthy and we look forward to seeing you Monday at packet pickup.

Student and Family Self Referral Form
The Student and Family Self Referral Form allows students and families to request support they may need. We always hope families will feel comfortable asking their teacher for whatever they might need but sometimes they need more and our Support Team wants to be able to help. The Student Support Team will review these weekly to coordinate support as needed. You will be able to find this form on your child's Seesaw or Canvas pages soon.

Connecting elementary families to Seesaw and Canvas
Once a family member accepts an invitation to join a student’s homeroom class, they are connected to ALL of their student’s Seesaw classes now and in future years.
SeeSaw General Information: https://sites.google.com/edmonds.wednet.edu/esdresources/seesaw
Once a family becomes an “observer” of a student, they are connected with ALL of their student’s Canvas courses now and in future years.
This page provides parents with information about what it means to be an observer and how to set up an observer account.
There are now two methods for families to get the “pairing code” that is necessary to set up a Canvas observer account:
Student generates pairing code: Families can find more information here.
NEW: Teacher generates pairing codes. The codes only last for 7 days or 1 use, and multiple codes can be generated (if code expires or multiple family members would like to set up an observer account).
Students should be clearing the cache and cookies on their Chromebooks once a week. Step # 2 of the Chromebook troubleshooting guide shows how to clear the cache and cookies in the browser.

Reproductive Health and Disease Prevention Parent Review Night, Wednesday, November 4, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
This year's event will be a virtual Question and Answer night for families to learn about the Reproductive Health and Disease Prevention Curriculum (FLASH and KNOW) that is taught in grades 5-12. There will not be a formal presentation of the materials, families have the opportunity to view all of the lessons virtually prior to the preview night. There will be secondary health teachers, 5th and 6th grade classroom teachers, and a school nurse available to help answer questions and address parent concerns.
Parents should plan to preview the materials in advance. The elementary curriculum is posted on the district website here. Families interested in previewing the secondary (Middle and High School) will need to send an email to Patty Schultz (email@example.com) for log in and password information.
