New Tardy Policy
Students arriving late to class unexcused can be a distraction and hinderance to the learning process. Every moment in class is precious, and for every student that arrives late takes away from actual instruction time. Rather 1st period or 7th period, Atlantic Coast students must arrive on time and be prepared for each class. Starting January 5th, 2020, late to school and being tardy will be considered the same and have identical consequences.

ACHS Athletics
Athlete of the Week
I nominate Reese Gordon, of the Atlantic Coast Girls Soccer team for student athlete of the week because of her hard work on the field and more importantly in the classroom. Reese is a member of the National Honor Society, and she carries a 3.89 weighted GPA. She has been a leader on the soccer field for three years, has earned All Conference honors, and she is the team's leading scorer.
