State of KCA
Dear KCA Students and Parents
Physicians add years to your life but God adds life to your years. Recently, my daughter’s softball coach, Willie Purser, passed away suddenly . The shock of his death devastated and changed so many lives. One thing was constant and evident, his faith and affection in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His life was an excellent example of what a Christian life should resemble. He was loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and self-controlled. As we strive to mold young lives, KCA must always remember to put Christ first before academics, just as Coach Willie did before he was called home.

Our Mission
At Kingdom Country Academy our mission is to glorify God and edify families and surrounding counties with a collaborative Christian school that provides a biblically based, academically rigorous, and developmentally appropriate education for PreK-12th grade students.
Christian School Philosophy
God’s model for teaching and learning is found in Deuteronomy 6:6-7, “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise” (ESV). At the foundation of the Kingdom Country Academy (KCA) educational philosophy is the desire to offer our God-given gifts to serve the community to ensure a biblically based education. KCA will adhere to God’s inerrant word while daily interacting with all individuals involved in the school. As God’s plan clearly indicates that family is at the core of education, KCA exists to assist families in diligently teaching their children. Though not a replacement for the learning that occurs in families, KCA will come alongside parents and children to instruct, mentor, and encourage them in their individual educational pilgrimages beginning in preschool and traveling all the way through to the 12th grade.
Kingdom Country Academy Core Theological Tenets
The Sacred Scriptures: We accept the Bible, including the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament, as the written Word of God. The Bible is the essential and infallible record of God’s self-disclosure to mankind. It leads us to salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
(2 Peter 1:20,21; Mark 13:31; John 8:31,32; 20:31; Acts 20:32)
God is Triune: There is one God. He is infinite, eternal, almighty; perfect in holiness, truth, and love. In the unity of the Godhead, there are three Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-existent, co-equal, and co-eternal. The Father is not the Son and the Son is not the Holy Spirit, yet each is truly Deity. One God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — is the foundation of Christian faith and life.
John 1:1-3, In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without Him, nothing was made that has been made.
(Genesis 1:1,26; Matthew 28:19; John 4:24; Romans 1:19,20; Ephesians 4:5,6)
God the Father: God the Father is the Creator of heaven and earth. By His word and for His glory, He freely and supernaturally created the world out of nothing. Through the same word, He daily sustains all His creatures. He rules over all and, together with the Son and the Spirit, is the only Sovereign.
Luke 10:21-22 At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
(Matthew 23:9; John 3:16; 6:27; Romans 1:7; 1 Timothy 1:1,2; 2:5,6; 1Peter 1:3; Revelation 1:6)
Jesus Christ – God the Son: Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, is the eternal Word made flesh, supernaturally conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He is perfect in nature, teaching, and obedience. He is fully God and is fully man. He was always with God and is God. Through Him all things came into being and were created. God the Son was before all things and in Him all things hold together by the word of His power.
John 20:30-31 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God and that by believing you may have life in his name.
Hebrews 1:3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
(Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38; John 1:1; 20:28; Romans 5:6-8; 6:9,10; 9:5; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 2:21-23; Matthew 20:28; Ephesians 1:4; Acts 1:11; Hebrews 7:25; 9:28; 1 Timothy 3:16)
God the Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit, the Lord, and Giver of life convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Through the proclamation of the gospel, He persuades men to repent of their sins and confess Jesus as Lord. By the same Spirit, a person is led to trust in divine mercy. The Holy Spirit unites believers to Jesus Christ in faith, brings about the new birth, and dwells within the regenerate (the follower of Jesus).
Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
(John 14:26; Romans 8:11; 2 Corinthians 3:12-18; James 1:23-25; John 20:21-23)
Salvation: All men are born with a sinful nature. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). The work of the Cross is to redeem man from the power of sin. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). We believe that this salvation is available to all who will receive it.
Romans 10:9-10 “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”.
Prayer is an essential part of the believer’s life to freely talk to the Lord in adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication. Prayer proceeds from a personal relationship with God.
1 John 1:8-10 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
Matthew 7:7-11, John 15:1-7, James 5:14-18, Matthew 6:8, 25-34, Psalm 37:8
Evangelism is the obligation of every follower of Jesus Christ. The Lord commands us to go out and make disciples of all the earth. We believe that each person is responsible for outreach and evangelism both locally and globally as the Holy Spirit leads them and gives them the ability.
Matthew 28:18-20 “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”
Expected Student Outcomes
KCA students will participate in biblically-based educational classes that are interesting, fun, and are challenging where they can experience learning in a small group environment. Small groups led by qualified instructors will ensure the individual attention needed for students to not only succeed academically but to thrive in their future endeavors. Classroom instruction will provide training for life whether it will be college, vocational, or other callings attaining the outcome of responsible, well-educated adults who engage their world for Christ.
KCA classes will be heterogeneous in make-up with developmentally appropriate ages grouped together. Adult life isn’t lived with everyone grouped by age and the educational setting should reflect that reality. KCA students will be placed into classes that are academically and developmentally appropriate for each individual student. Though age is a consideration, it will not be the only determining factor. The student outcome of this placement procedure will be students who are equipped to work in and contribute to the many diverse situations that adult life will present them. Basically, KCA students will know how to get along with young folks, old folks, and all ages in between because of their heterogeneous placement and group work at KCA.
KCA students will be encouraged and held accountable to a definite schedule using time management in order to facilitate the outcome of organized, responsible adults who know how to regulate their schedules, working within time boundaries and deadlines efficiently.
Using their God-given gifts and talents in a cooperative setting, KCA students will develop friendships and a spirit of friendly competition through both classroom and extracurricular activities with the expected outcome of Christian growth and encouragement.
KCA’s ultimate outcome is to witness all KCA students in an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through love as well as a passion for God’s inerrant Word, the Bible.
