Winter Program wrap-up from the LHSA
Another year of Linden Winter Programs has come to a close. We had a record number of parent volunteers leading activities and helping with dismissal and we couldn’t have had such a wonderful program without them!
THANK YOU to Barb Wilson for co-chairing Winter Programs AND leading the almost 60 kids-strong Pokemon Club along with helpers Suzanne Hetz, Suzanne’s mom Marty Nunemacher, Caitlin Swartley & Amanda Owen…affectionately known as the lovely and ever so helpful “PokeMOMS”! A huge THANK YOU to Beth Gray & Stacey Wanko for leading another heart-pumping Winter Boot Camp! Jessica Jefferis led another year of her inspiring Book Club! We had two newcomers to Winter Programs that were a perfect fit. Liz Robinson led Fun Crafts with Friends and had her group laughing and crafting so much that an hour really wasn’t enough time! An ambitious group of sixth graders led by Lisa Pitts, Rebecca DeHaven, Lisa Helveston & SueClaricurzo learned what goes into the making of our memory book…can’t wait to see it in June! Stacey Wanko & Nicole Neary were faithful Thursday volunteers that made the craziness of dismissal run very smoothly. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
We have already had some suggestions for next year but would like to hear from you. Please contact Candi Young (email@example.com) or Barb Wilson (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like to lead an activity next year or know of a local company that would be a good fit for Linden.
