A few reminders...

*We still have some library books visiting homes since March. Please take a moment to see if you have any that can be returned to school.

*Michigan weather is ever changing. We do go outside every day, so please be sure to send appropriate outdoor wear with your child.

*Did you know we have a PaperGator in our back parking lot? This is a great way to support our PTO and Emmons Lake Elementary. Recycling materials raises money for our school and is a great way to be eco-responsible! Items that can go in the bin are newsprint, catalogs/magazines, office/school papers, hard or soft covered books.

*Drop off/pick up is getting better. Check out the etiquette document to help us have safe and efficient process.

Message from the Principal...

Week 3 in the books and we are rocking it! Students, teachers, and staff continue to create amazing learning experiences each day. We are thankful we get to be together in this journey.

Some important things to consider as we navigate through many unknowns of this school year, life can get busy and overwhelming. It is important to take time to to refuel your souls too. Get outside, take a walk, start a gratitude journal, or find something that brings you joy. We've included some self-care resources for you and your family. Hope it helps a little during these challenging times.

Daily health screener is available via PowerSchool. Thanks for your help in completing this each day prior to your child arriving to school. If you are still having difficulty completing the screener, please contact the office and our amazing secretaries will help get you set up. Please note, you do not need to complete the paper screener each day. We are asking all families to have one copy of this signed form on file as an extra layer of documentation. If you have already turned one in, thank you. We appreciate all the phone calls to the office letting us know if your child is ill or experience symptoms. This helps us to ensure the safety and well-being of all our families.

Grateful to Serve With You,

Mrs. Schultz
