Illinois Science Assessment Begins May 10 for 8th Grade Students

Conrady 8th Grade students will be taking the ISA (Illinois Science Assessment) on Monday, May 10; Tuesday, May 11; and Wednesday, May 12. Due to ISA guidelines, the assessment must be given in person and during school hours. Students must complete all 3 days of testing in order for their test to be valid and scored.

Parents of remote learners will have the following 3 options:

Option 1: My child will test during school hours on May 10-12. I will drive them to school or they will walk.

Option 2: My child will test during school hours on May 10-12. My child will need to take the NPD117 bus.

Option 3: I am not willing to send my child for in-person testing.

Please support us in preparing for this assessment by completing the survey by Friday, April 23. Additional testing information will be sent in the upcoming weeks based on your preference selected above.

First Week of IAR Completed - IAR Math Assessment this coming week

We successfully completed the first week of Illinois Assessment of Readiness testing. We are pleased that 87% of our students participated. This coming week, Conrady students will take the Math portion of IAR. Students will test when they are in the building at the same time they would normally attend classes. Remote students received an email with testing options.

Students will take the Math Assessment on the following days:

Wednesday, April 28 - IAR Math Test 1

Thursday, April 29 - IAR Math Test 2

Friday, April 30 - IAR MAth Test 3

It is crucial that students arrive at school on time during these days. Please remind your child how important it is to get plenty of sleep and eat a nutritional meal. Please make sure your child has a fully charged Chromebook and we recommend they bring their charger to school with them.

Students take attendance twice daily on testing days. Attendance is completed in their 5th period class, at 7:45am and 11:20am. When not testing, students will work on asynchronous assignments for all classes. Your student should log into schoology for each of their classes each day of testing. They should check and complete assigned daily work for each class.

Please click the link below to read about additional information regarding the IAR assessments from NPD117.

Cap and gown Graduation Pictures rescheduled to May 6 and May 7

  • Rescheduled Graduation Picture Date

    • We want to inform parents of an important schedule change regarding 8th grade graduation pictures. We have just been informed that because of shipping delays due to Covid, students’ graduation caps and gowns will be delivered later than expected. We need to reschedule graduation cap and gown pictures to May 6 and 7. In person learners will take their pictures during the school day. We will keep the time slot parents of remote students chose. If you need to change your child’s time slot, please email for more information. We apologize for any inconvenience that this causes.
