LHS TIGER TALK
March 17, 2023
Good Afternoon Loveland High School Families,
Although the time change made us all a little more tired than usual this week, we had a great start to the 4th quarter! During the lunch bells today, all students had the opportunity to speak and meet with local business partners regarding possible future careers. Also today, several of our LHS students went to LES and participated in Find Your Stripes Day! Our students shared with LES about all the amazing clubs and activities the high school has to offer. On Wednesday, we concluded the winter sports season with our annual award night and now hope for warmer weather for spring seasons.
With May seemingly just around the corner this was a big week for seniors. On Thursday during advisory, seniors were given the details for all their upcoming events. Today during lunch seniors who ordered shirts, invites, or other graduation items had the opportunity to pick them up.
Have a safe and great weekend,
Adam Reed, Brian Conatser, Mary Beth Corbin, and Rich Bryant
Attention Parents of Seniors
If you ordered senior announcements, they were delivered to students during lunch today. If the announcements did not get picked up they will be available to pick up in the main office next week.
Important Information from our School Nurse
Strep Throat and a Gastrointestinal Virus still seem to be the dominant illnesses noted at the high school. Because we are seeing higher numbers of these illnesses called in at attendance, we ask that you follow our guidelines and please keep your student home for 24 hours from their last episode of vomiting, diarrhea, or fever. If your child tests positive for strep with a throat culture or rapid strep test, please keep them home until they have completed a full 24 hours of their antibiotics to reduce transmission.
As always, if you have questions or concerns please contact the school nurse, Katie Sutton, by email or phone.
